Taps and toilets
A running toilet can waste hundreds of litres a day. Most of these jobs take an hour or two, and we carry the common parts in the van.
Sounds like yours if
Hard water wears out tap washers and toilet valves faster here than in soft water areas. We replace the worn part where we can and only suggest a new tap or toilet when the old one is not worth saving.
We also fit new taps and toilets, including close-coupled, back-to-wall and concealed cisterns.
What this covers
Put a few drops of food colouring in the cistern. If colour shows in the pan without flushing, the valve is leaking.
Is it worth fixing an old tap?
Often, yes. A new cartridge or washer costs far less than a new tap. We tell you if it is not.
Do you carry parts?
We carry the common valves, washers and cartridges. Anything specific we get the same or next day.
