What it costs
Every job is different, so we price the job in front of us. Here is how that works, so you know what to expect before you ring.
How we price
You get a price before we start. If we find something extra once the job is open, we stop and talk to you before doing anything more.
Small repairs
Dripping taps, running toilets, a leaking trap
Repairs we need to see
Hidden leaks, cold radiators, low pressure
Installs and bathrooms
Showers, new suites, full refits
Emergency call-outs
Bursts and leaks that cannot wait
Landlords and businesses
Repairs invoiced to you or your agent
Things that change the price
Access
A pipe behind tiles or under a fitted kitchen takes longer to reach than one in an airing cupboard.
Parts
We give you options where there are any. A mid-range tap and a designer tap are very different prices.
Time of day
Evenings, weekends and bank holidays cost more. We tell you the rate before we set off.
Do you charge to quote?
No. Looking at the job and giving you a price is free during normal hours.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer or card once the job is done. Larger jobs like bathrooms have a deposit for materials, agreed in the quote.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. If something we fitted or repaired goes wrong, ring us and we will come back and put it right.
